TLXOS for Small Form Factor (formerly TLXOS Intel Small Form Factor (ISFF) or TLXOS NUC32/NUC64) is ThinLinX's Thin Client & Digital Signage Software solution for x86-based purpose-built thin client and special-function devices that are smaller than a conventional PC, but don't have an integrated screen or keyboard.
Currently supported remote access protocols include Citrix HDX, VMware Horizon, RDP, VNC, X11-XDMCP, SPICE, NX, HTTP/HTTPS/FTP (Chromium web browser), MS Teams, Parallels RAS (formerly 2X), SSH, Telnet,TN3270 and TN5250 (IBM mainframe). Digital Signage is also available, using a combination of local applications for presentation of still images and videos from local storage and Internet content (including PDF files) from remote web servers.
TLXOS SFF was originally developed for the Intel Next Unit of Computing (NUC) and the Intel Compute Stick, but we subsequently extended it to support most small PCs other than tablets and notebooks. It only supports real hardware - if you need to install TLXOS on a virtual machine, please use TLXOS RePC instead.
All TLXOS editions can be remotely managed using our free management console, TMS.
